In 1969 Andersen moved to Warner Brothers and this association led to him being part of the Festival Express tour across Canada with, among other, the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and The Band. Two LPs were released by Warner Brothers. In 1972 Andersen moved to the Columbia label and released Blue River, his most successful release at that time.
